Hello I am Felix,
I am currently pursuing a Master's degree — a long-held ambition of mine!
Until October 2022, I have been responsible for two inter–disciplinary design teams at IBM as a Senior Design Lead. The designers on my teams worked at the IBM Design Studio in Boeblingen and at multiple US locations. Both teams are part of interdisciplinary product teams and collaborate daily with product managers and developers from the US and India.
Prior to that, my previous position was Design Lead for a local design team at the Böblingen studio for three years.
After earning my degree in Communication Design at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd, (2015) I began my career as an Interaction Designer at 2av GmbH.
In late 2015, I joined IBM as a Visual Designer after a three-month Design Camp at the IBM Design Headquarters in Austin, Texas, set the stage for my design career within the IT corporation.
Since 2018, I have been teaching at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd, where I instruct second-semester students in UX basics and visual prototyping. Starting from October 2023, I expanded my teaching activities to include Pforzheim University of Design, where I instruct courses in UX/UI design and the Multidisciplinary Design Project as part of the Master's program.
In my free time I am a passionate photographer.
I hike and climb and love to sip a coffee amongst my many banana plants.
I love traveling, cooking and meeting friends.
